How To: Setup EPGP (dkp reloaded)

NOTE: This guide does NOT refer to EPGP Lootmaster, but to EPGP (dkp reloaded)

Once the addon is installed you can bring up the configuration options by typing “/epgp config”.  You should see the following panel.  Note:  The settings here will only apply to Strikers and Officers who have permissions to edit officer notes.

The first section to note is the Boss settings.  Enabling the first option, Automatic Boss Tracking, will generate a pop-up when a raid boss is killed to award EP to the raid and standby.
The second option, Wipe Awards, will produce a similar pop-up on a raid wipe during a boss encounter.  Currently we only award points for a wipe on progression content, at this time that is all 25-man ICC bosses, and all 10-man ICC bosses past Deathbringer.

Next, the Loot section creates a pop-up when loot is received by a raid member, since we use epgp lootmaster you will want to be sure that this option is DISABLED.

The whisper section contains the options for the standby whisper system.  ALL Officers and strikers should configure this as follows.  Set Announce Medium to custom and UNCHECK “Enable”.  The standby whisper should only be done by one person, regardless of the number of raids that are running.  If multiple officers attempt to award ep to the same person it will corrupt their note and loose all of the ep/gp data stored in it.  If Erlian is not available for a raid ONE officer will need to enable this setting temporarily.  Note: If you have standby whisper enabled you will need to be sure to DISABLE auto-respond while fighting under the general options in your Deadly Boss Mods.

The Announce options control what chat channels epgp will use.  You will first want to set “Announce Medium” to custom and enter “phammer” in the available text box.  Be sure to press enter after entering the channel name as it does not save if you do not press enter.  Also, be sure that you have joined the “phammer” channel.  Then set “Announce Medium” to Raid.  I currently have all announcements enabled; this setup will cause any announcements to go to the Guild channel if you are not in a raid.

The last configuration section is Tooltip, this enables the display of an items GP value in its tooltip.  You can also set item quality threshold to only see values for specific item types (i.e. Epic).
