Sindragosa is DOWN! Now she can stop yelling that horrible yell - augh... until next week, anyway. We spent all night mainly working on learning Phase 2 and got her down to 6% and then got stuck in the 15%s. On our final attempt things began looking hairy at 5% but the folks surviving managed to push her all the way to 0%! YAY! I think the hardest part in Phase 2 was to pay attention to the blue beacon and STAY AWAY from folks who had it. GREAT JOB GUYS! Lich King, here we come!
Blood Princes Defeated and Valithria Dreamwalker 10m Saved! After two consecutive Putricide victories (the second one on the first raid night), Forge has brought down the Blood Princes and saved Valithria Dreamwalker! The Blood Queen resisted our attempts but we managed to get her down to 17% and she is well within reach. Great job guys!
Deathbringer Saurfang - 10 (Tue Jan 05, 2010)  After countless attempts on several different days, Forge finally conquered Deathbringer Saurfang.  Several things we learned about this fight: Blood beasts must not be allowed to hit anyone - this means tanks must be aware when they spawn to not aggro them, dps must focus them down quickly and be prepared to move if one should get too close.  We also went with the strategy of letting the first marked member die, tho this can be problematic if you lose a tank or healer we felt it was better than getting the subsequent marks faster.  We also did this with two healers to allow more dps, lastly we found it best to use our damage increasing abilites such as heroism at the start of the fight when everyone can concentrate dps on Deathbringer.
Gunship Battle - 10 (Tue Dec 16, 2009)  This fight is... just.. AWESOME.  This was a lot of fun to learn, and just jump around on jetpacks.  We did have some issue with the first few attempts and Saurfang's buff not dropping off when our tank moved out of range.  But we overcame this and the rest is fairly simple, we had our tank and dps group move over to the horde air ship when the mage would cast "Below zero", once the mage was down we had them return.  This was fairly simple once we got the timing sorted out. Afterwards we made several attempts at Deathbringer, ultimately unable to be bring him lower than 10%.  But we learned alot that we will take with us when we face him agian.
Lady Deathwhisper - 10 (Tue Dec 15, 2009)  After making quick work of Lord Marrowgar we proceeded to our first encounter with Lady Deathwhisper with high hopes.  She beat us mercilessly for it, after the first couple wipes we realized we needed to approach her adds with more organization.  We assigned each tank to a type of add either Fanatic or Adherent.  Then the physical dps to the Adherents, and Spell dps to the Fanatics (thanks again to Malicious Vestige for the tip).  Then after learning to deal with the special mobs she would create, the Empowered or Deformed, we found that timing was key when entering her second phase.  But once we finally got the adds under control and timing right we easily took her into phase two and defeated her.  During phase two it is important to be aware of the Vengeful Shades that she will spawn, they will move to a raid member and explode: Run Away!  You can not interact with them in any way.  Again good work by all.

We have merged the Website(cms) and Forum(phpbb) Logins, you should be able to use the Login Form on the left side with your existing Forge forums login.  After you login click on the forums link and you will be automatically logged in.  This forum page will be wrapped into the website at some point (when I figure out how).  Welcome to our new home and bear with us while we get it sorted out.

Okay, so far I'm really liking this new CMS! Next steps - add a link to the forums, install the bridge to phpbb3, and look for a template we like to either use or apply and customize :)

Woot!

Oh, and if you're still looking for a way to get to the forums:
