so! interesting fun things. we now get an intermediary heal, lifegrip = win, zomg power word: barrier, I also hope the changes for disc priest "tank shield" go through. It's going to be an interesting decision which spec to play in cata.

My favorite thing mentioned so far is this quote from Ghostcrawler:

This really is an amazing boon to guilds like Forge where you'd rather play with the people you really want to hang out with rather than the people who have the necessary mechanics of the class.

There's a lot of homogenization complaints going around, but I disagree. They're making the different classes cover the same roles, but from what I hear so far they're working hard to preserve the classes' unique abilities and play styles. That means you can concentrate on how many healers you have in general while those healers are completely free to pick and choose their favorite spec and play style. I APPROVE!
